RB112+R52+PPPoE=Problem ;)

Hello,

It is my first post in this forum, so I would like to welcome all of You.

I have one problem with MT as an AP.
When I’m connecting with Interner by normal TCP/IP (RB112 is just AP, other MT is installed on normal PC and used as router) every thing is ok.

But when I’m authorizing by PPPoE pages are loaded veeeery slowly. I’m assume that issue is connected with MTU, MRU.

My question is. How to set up these values ?

P.S.
PPPoE server is installed on PC, not RB112. When I’m using ethernet there is no such problem by the time of PPPoE connection.

I presume that the RB112 is functioning merely as a bridge, then? Definately take a look at all of your MTU’s and make sure they are accurate. The sub-interfaces should be 1500, and the pppoe server should hand out 1480 or 1488.

Is it only thing that I can do ?
What else I can do to speed up connections and their stability ?

When I had Planet 1966 it worked perfect. After changing it to MT problems started :frowning:
