Hi
What’s the major difference between RB112 and RB500 series? The hardware packages for 2.4GHz comes with a RB112.
RB500 is faster, and has more ports.
In addtion to Normis post, detailed RouterBOARDs hardware specification is given here,
http://www.routerboard.com/products.html
does this mean that i cant use RB112 as nodes in WDS setup ?
you can, it all depends on details. will you do queues and firewall? if no - no problem
Hi,
RB112 has only 16MB RAM, RB153 or RB532 has 32MB, and RB532A has 64 MB. Does it mean :
- RB112 only enough for plain router/bridge, no
queues, firewall, OSPF, etc. - RB153 or 532 could do the above tasks until certain level
- RB532A is more flexible
Please advise.
Any information we can learn to calculate the required RAM ?
Thanks
what if i run cach drive in a RB node , ist right or wrong ? that RB node is one of 3 NODES in a WDS setup and its not the main ..
