After updating my RB1200 to v6.13 the router didn’t manage to reboot. After attempting the following steps.
Bootreset by button at the back of RB1200
Reset by connecting the reset jumper on the board\
After this reset, it seemed to restart, however instead of the two consecutive beeps it makes an rattling, buzzing, tingling (hard to describe) beep every 10-20seconds.
I’ve tried to pickup the router via winbox and try to use Netinstall to flashfig the board with my last backup .rsc unfortunately due to the router not being detected on the network, it won’t work.
No connection could be made by serial port either.
I’ve ran out of options, does anyone have a good idea to help me out? As I’m in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, I don’t have easy access to a new board or other options, so any type of solution that could help me out would be great.
If memory serves, you can only Netinstall when connected physically to port 8, I believe. It may be port 10. Either way, did you try using one of the two mentioned ports when Netinstalling?
I managed to get a response on Port 10, now unfortunately it says “RBamcc460 not enough flash space, ignoring”
I’m trying to get the code to clear the flash memory now.
I am getting the same issue and still stuck with this while tried to upgrade my RB450’s v3.10 to v3.30 and my RB450 got bricked. Its really very disappointing and frustrating and still waiting for a real MT expert to fix this problem.
