RB1200 not booting correctly

Hi,

ive got a bricked RB1200…

What i have tried so far:
Connected a USB-COMconverter with Genderchanger (why has this thing a mail DB9???) and listened with putty, no responses whatsoever.
running netinstall 6.2, holding the resetbutton for +15sec and waited for netinstall to see the router… no response
tried to run netinstall on all ports… when connecting port 1~8 the PC “sees” a network connection, ports 9 & 10 are “dead” :frowning:

im out of options… :frowning::frowning:


btw. the router is beeping each 3~4 minutes (as if rebooting)


Hope you guys have any options left for me :slight_smile:

check the board for any swollen caps and replace

Suggestion find computer with proper com port use null modem com cable to connect.
USB to com not working every time properly.

Tried a null model canle and a machine with a normal comport, unfirtunately, no output here either..
