We have a few RB1200s in our network, and discovered an issue with the watchdog timer.
We have it set to reboot after 5 minutes of no response from the gateway, when testing it on a customer site it works fine for approx 4 or 5 times, then the 1200 will just hang with the blue LED on and no port activity. Only a power cycle will get the 1200 back. This is running RouterOs 5.16.
I have also recreated this in our lab with a spare 1200 running 5.17 so it’s not a software version issue - although it takes around 20 watchdog resets before locking up the same.
Has anyone else had this issue?
