I have a RB133c running 2.9.50 with a Senao 2611mp+ in it using a Arc wireless 19dbi antenna going to our AP running 2.9.27(9dbi gain omni) about a mile and a half away. The RB was running fine for about 2 weeks and now it wont connect to the AP. When I do a scan from the RB it sees the AP (-68db) but wont connect. The AP doesnt see it any more.
I have other clients in the area that are using Tranzeo CPE’s and they connect so I dont think it is the AP. There have been no new software up grades in sometime on the AP as it has always worked (new software has some driver issues with tranzeo so Im told, dont want to kill my other clients.) So I pulled the RB and took it back to the shop thinking that the 2611 card transmitt card was dead. Put the system on the bench and hooked up the power meter and found that it was not dead but putting out the max power it could. I even had it hooked up to my router in the office and it transmitted and received just fine. I put it back in to service thinking that it was fine only to fine out that it still wont connect. Any thoughts?
Antenna, pigtail or coax?
What are you using for the rest of the CPE?
