I have 3 RB133’s running flawlessly for several years, even in the Texas heat. One of the radios went south and the only spare I have is a RB R52n. The installed OS is 3.?, which does not support that radio, so I need to upgrade to 4.17. I downloaded NetInstall 4.17, and the complete files, but when I tried FTPing the files to the RB133, the board hung and won’t respond to anything via net ports any more but will come up to boot loader via the serial port. When I try to boot the RB, it halts. I tried resetting the configuration via the jumper pins, but they don’t seem to do anything, and the reset button does not work. Looks like the OS is shot.
I have not been able to get NetInstall to see the RB, so I can’t download the upgrade that way. What am I missing and where do i go from here?
