RB133 PPTP halts; Console has crashed or...

I have an RB133 that is a PPTP client. After some length of time (upwards of a week) the PPTP quits functioning. If I remove the server on the PTPP server (a RB532A) it will reconnect, however the tunnel is not functioning.

If I try to SSH into the RB133 I get this error:

Console has crashed or maybe system is completely busy; please log in again.

Does anyone know what is causing the RB133 to stop the PPTP traffic? It is still routing and allowing Internet access just fine when I get the error mentioned above.

what ROS version?

It is running 2.9.43 and it was a 133C running on the 2.6 firmware. I upgraded it to the 2.8 firmware last night.

update to the latest version (at least 2.9.50)

Can you tell me if you think this is a real solution or just a shot in the dark? I’m only curious as I will have to do this on site and after hours.
