Hello good afternoon, I have a link of 50Mb when I did a bandwidth test from internet i get more or less the result of my link connection. Yesterday I configure an old RB133 (5.26v) i had with simple router configuration (to share internet) all is working but i notice if I want to perform the bandwidth test now I get 10Mb. I have read about Fasttrack option but I think so that it works in the newer devices. Do you know if there any option to speed up the internet connection?
About fast-track: it’s not device age, it’s obsolete ROS version … you’re running 5.26 while recent version is 6.46.
If you really want to continue using RB133 upgrade it to a recent ROS version, reset config to factory default and try again. There have been reports that not all RB133 models can be upgraded beyond ROS 5.26, so be careful …
Thanks for you anwser I will try with an update.
where can I check what is the last version ROS that RB133 support?
anyway there is a thing that is not clear for me altought the router is old i can understand why it is not able to handle a 50Mb internet connection. the ports of the router are 100Mb so it should handle without issue.
