RB133c as a repeater on exisiting wireless network

Hello,

I have a Cisco Aironet 1252 Access point in Root Bridge mode /w wireless clients, connected to a Cisco RVS4000 router and then a cable modem. This set up is wireless.

I have a spare RB133c board with a 2.4ghz omni antenna and would like to set it up as a repeater using the exisiting wireless network.

I have read the wiki and searched the forums and tried various things. I can get the RB133 set up so that my wireless card in my laptop sees it, but I have no internet. So I’m thinking I dont have the link between my exisiting wireless network established.

Its a pretty basic set up. Cable modem to a router with DHCP, WPA2 key, going to an access point which is serving the wireless clients.

Can anyone please help me and tell me a basic set up to configure this board as a repeater? I have all the ip info of every device and MAC addresses and configurations.

Thanks in advance.

Im not sure, but RB133C doesnt support AP-Bridge mode - so it cant be used as u want it. however u can read more about that here
