I have one router board that works for clients just fine, but it doesn’t ping or let me connect to it directly. It is 2 hops out from the base on a 5ghz backhaul. I have 2 other router bd with same situation and they connect to winbox just fine. If I connect to the router upstream from it, I can telnet or ssh to it ok. If I go there and use the laptop to connect to the ap, I can use winbox on it locally. The dude sometimes connects and shows it as partially down, but mostly it is completely down. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance for your help.
If you have a routed network it could be a routing issue, it also can be the firewall configuration in that specific routerboard,
can you post more details?
