I have a RB192 licensed for v3.X lvl. 4. I’m trying to upgrade to 4.0 Beta 4 to support 802.11n. When I reboot with the new image on it, I get: “system,error license does not support new version of routeros-mipsle-4.0beta4” in the logs. I attempt to “Upgrade” the key through Mikrotik’s website I get “This key already have full features!”. From what I can tell this key should be valid, and should let me upgrade. What am I doing wrong?
you should contact support, and send them your SoftID and what else you see in “/system license print”
what’s in your ‘Upgradable to:’ field in system->license? what version of ROS do you use?
theoretically even those versions should be able to test the beta, while it’s still in beta. ie. even if your upgradable to says “3.x” and you are using v3.27, you are allowed to test the beta version, to decide if you will need to purchase a new license for it, or not (and downgrade back).
