Since there is no official web page for the process of new products coming out, and EOL timelines, etc., all we can do is speculate on things based on what distributors guestimates are.
Soooo… IS the RB192 now EOL?
Is there a RB492 coming out to replace it, ala the rest of the lines. We really need to know this, as our network calls for purchase of about 25 routers such as this in the next 30 days.
Can we please get an official response on this from Mikrotik themselves?

If I were you, judging from the currently released products, I would say that something like that is probably coming too. But you should ask mikrotik directly (or at least your local reseller).

That was my point on asking here, so that a Mikrotik representative can tell me the forecast of this situation.

Normis basically just told you the RB492 is coming.. They also have NOT discontinued the RB192 case which means the 492 is coming..
Give it a month or so guys..

It would have been nice to know that. I asked MTIK for a shipment of 192 and Martins said “product EOL, no demand for more” so I ordered twenty of them from the dwindling stocks of one of their distributors.
192 with a decent processor will be a really kick ass product. Now only if there were a rack mount case for it. I don’t need anything like a RB1000 in 9/10 of my racks. What I need is just a couple more ports - so I don’t have to buy managed switches everywhere.
