RB2011 failure

Hi,

i turned on a rb2011 for the first time today, was working fine for an hour or so and all of a sudden the network dropped out.

After that i couldnt log into routeros, the DHCP server isnt working, it doesnt show up in the neighbours section on winbox either.

i tried resetting it but it still doesnt function.

Does this seem like an RMA? ive never had a mikrotik fail before.

Put ethernet wire directly to unfirewalled port and try mac connection. If no go, make reset. If no way, try netinstall. After that it is the time to rma. You can use display for basic configuration too…
