I have a RB2011UAS, and one of the ports briefly disconnects (down and up) within say 2-3 seconds. That is annoying, when I watch a movie on the TV (that ports is going to the LAN of the TV) streaming from a NAS.
I clearly see the log entry that it went down, and 2 seconds later it goes up. But in the meantime, my movie stopped. OK, Panasonic TV is very “nice” to me, and after I press pause, and play again, it continues from the moment it stopped.
Why does the LAN port stops? In the log except the up / down you cannot find anything else. The LAN port (nr. 10) is in the schedule rule, but it has only two entries there: /interface disable 8 and the same for enable once a day (switch off at 1:00 AM and switch on at 20:00).
Did you flushed or wiped out, the default configuration, where the eth1 or LAN Port 1 is the WAN Port?
Or did you use this default config and used it to set up your Router?
Please tell us what RouterOS and what Routerboard firmware version are you using?
Please make sure that you upgrade the RouterOS to v6.7 and RouterBoard firmware to v3.10
Then we suggest that you Reset the configuration of your router by going into the System Reset Configuration.
After that reconfigure your router and check if the problem still continues.
Tell us more detailed to which ethernet port your TV is connected. How long is the ethernet cable and at what speed the ethernet interface is linked at?
