Hey guys, have spent countless hours trying to figure this one out but anyway here goes my setup is
ISP> /29 subnetted public addresses > RB2011 > Ubiquiti PtP radio link , Managed switch > Ubiquiti ptp radio Link, Managed switch (LAN of about 10 Pcs Connected here) then continues onto another ptp link and another group of computers, also connected to first managed switch is another sector radio link with computers connected.
as you can see have built myself quite a network but am trying to manage the addresses efficiently at the moment all devices are on the same big subnet 10.0.0.0/8 and as one could imagine its quite messy
have been trying to setup a VLAN trunk from the RB2011 and then split out the respective vlans at the managed switches, and also have a managment vlan for the radio link gear.
basically putting multiple vlans on say ether5 each with their own dhcp server and then splitting them out where needed
have listed below what subnets should work then all i should have to do is set the switch accordingly.
have added all the vlans into the RB2011 but dont fully understand how i should have the “bridge” setup etc just cannot seam to get it to go
any help would be greatly appreciated
