Anyone know how much current the USB OTG port can supply? When I plug my Verizon/Novatel USB551L modem in, the usb interface keeps going up and down. If I plug a powered hub into the RB2011 then plug the modem into the hub, it works fine.
I can’t comment on how much current is available, but previous experience has shown it’s relatively low or certainly sensitive. I’ve seem some devices trigger reboots and other oddities. I used the same solution, a powered USB hub.
