RB2011 wireless speed very low

Hi,

I reconfigured my RB2011 that I have since 2015. There was some issues with the speed and stability of my network.

After the reconfiguration it did not improve on the speed. If I check my providers speeds it is close to 280mbit/s while on the TIK I have 20 ~ 30 mbit/s and wired it is 202mbit/s but that is very much fluctuating.

I checked the power, CPU usage disabled the LCD etc all these actions did not improve my wireless network. Is there anyone who can help me on this one ? I’m depending on my network for smart home applications etc.

2.4GHz radios are subject to interference, not only other WiFi networks but also other sources. If I’m correct there is a WiFi scanner option that you can use to search for the best channel: you might want to select manually from either 1, 6 or 11.

To get a better view on the problem, can you please post /interface wireless export hide-sensitive?

Hi sure,

serial number = xxxxxxxxxx

/interface wireless

managed by CAPsMAN

channel: 2452/20-Ce/gn(16dBm), SSID: xxxxxx, CAPsMAN forwarding

set [ find default-name=wlan1 ] country=xxxxx frequency=auto mode=ap-bridge ssid=“xxxxx” wireless-protocol=802.11

set [ find default=yes ] authentication-types=wpa-psk,wpa2-psk mode=dynamic-keys supplicant-identity=MikroTik
/interface wireless cap

set bridge=bridge1 discovery-interfaces=bridge1 enabled=yes interfaces=wlan1

Looks like you are using CapsMan…could you please show your /capsman export hide-sensitive? Besides…only use WPA2/AES.

my export of CAPSMAN:
