I have an RB2011 and a CSS610, I would like to connect them via a XS+DA0001
I can get the link up by turning off negotiation and setting it to 1G at both ends. It shows ‘link on’ on the CSS and ‘link-ok’ on the RB2011.
I have the SFP port added to the bridge on the RB2011.
However, it won’t seem to pass traffic. Can’t ping the CSS or anything connected to it from the RB2011.
It shows that it’s transmitting packets at both ends but both ends report 0 receiving packets.
Is there a compatibility issue with using the XS+DA0001 to connect from an SFP (RB2011) to an SFP+ (DSS) port as I’m trying to achieve here even when getting a successful link at 1G?
If I use an RB4011 in the RB2011s place (so SFP+ to SFP+) the DAC connection works fine.
I can also uplink from the RB2011 to the CSS610 using the standard copper eth ports and it works fine.
