Hello, today I found in our reseller’s eshop routers with name RB2011iL-RM, it is also on routerboard.com. What does “i” means in model name?
i means power injector. last port can power other devices by passive PoE. it has built-in poe injector.
Nice feature, thank you Normis for explaining.
Nice to see this revision. Now i expect rb951i and rb951Gi ![]()
What would be nice is the RB2011-UP with POE on most ports
Where to find more information?
http://routerboard.com/RB2011iL-RM There is nothing.
It is software switchable like in RB750UP?
Why only 1 port? Thanks
It is exactly the same as RB2011-RM but with one power output port, and external power connector. Distributors rushed too quickly, we still are preparing information. Only one port because of hardware limitations.
Normis, my wish was answered. Thanks ![]()
MikroTik announced today “The RB951Ui-2HnD is a wireless SOHO AP with a new generation Atheros CPU and more processing power. It has five Ethernet ports, one USB 2.0 port and a high power 2.4GHz 1000mW 802.11b/g/n wireless AP with antennas built in.
It has a 600MHz CPU,128MB of RAM and PoE output function for port #5 – it can power other PoE capable devices with the same voltage as applied to the unit. Maximum load on the port is 580mA.

Will we see RB2011iUAS-RM ?
I like the SFP socket, the LCD screen … 1 x POE Out will be great also to power an external Mikrotik AP
In fact RB2011 with two SFP port will also be great to ring some site with a RB2011 at eatch site !
Quick question, Do you plan to put this board in the RB2011L-IN (making a RB2011iL-IN) ?
In fact RB2011 with two SFP port will also be great to ring some site with a RB2011 at eatch site !
+1
