RB2011U with Motorola DROID 2 (A956)(unlimited data plan grand fathered) connect as USB ?

Looking for help and direction.

Have been getting to know and love RB2011U. (great wifi penetration! )

I have been looking for all the information I can about how to attach USB devices to RB2011.

I think I have the part about having everything plugged in to the RB2011U and rebooting (I see Motorola A956 when I print USB)

But when I /port print I only see serial0 Serial Console..???

No ports show up in the port menu either.

The Motorola is running Android 2.3.4.

Usually I tether to a PC using a piece of software called “pdanet”

The software has a piece in the phone and a piece on the PC, I select USB and we get a fast connection !

Not I would like to remove the PC from the equation and just have the A956 USB’d off the RB2011.

Is that possible? Seems it should be, right?

I am running RouterOS 6.31 and Routerboard 3.24

Could I get pointed in the correct direction?

please go into the ‘/system routerboard usb print’ and check if the usb mode is in host or device mode.
If in the device mode, please unplug the phone from the board, turn off the power for the board, plug the phone back to the board and only then power on the board. Check if the usb mode changed to host.
Then you should see a lte1 interface recognized if the Android usb mode is set to usb tethering. Then add a dhcp-client on the lte1 interface and add a NAT/masquerading rule.
that should be all to get connected to the the internet via your Android device.
