Despite my attemps to find the reset button on RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN, i cannot find it.
Can someone please tell me where it is located.
Back side of router (roughly behind ether7): http://routerboard.com/pdf/423/rb2011U-qg.pdf
You can also see it in this image http://img.routerboard.com/pricelist/289_hi_res.png
I think I found it and tried to press it several times the day I received my unit, but I don’t know if I was successful because the LCD was not working then.
But the reset didn’t seem to actually happen, because I had to resort to recover by connecting via MAC address.
That’s why I want to be able to reset from the touchscreen now that it does work.
I am trying really hard to find the reset button but I cannot find it. Also on the link posted before I cannot see it. I can’t get into the router anymore and I am desperately trying to reset it, but so far I had no luck in locating the reset button. Do I need to open the enclosure ( I have a RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN)? Can someone please help me, it is driving me mad. Thank you in advance
The reset button is behind a square hole, which clearly stands out. The next revision of the product will have “reset” written below it, I’m sorry that the current one doesn’t. You will need a hairpin or something small and sharp to push it.

Thank you very much for your quick reply I will try it tonightg, I now know where to push.

I first thought it was that, but then I saw a little hole on the bottom, so I thought it was a Kensington slot or something.
So, I didn’t find the reset button at all.
I couldn’t find it either, ended up opening up the unit and found the reset pad inside, quite a pain to short and reset the power ![]()
