RB2011UAS-2HnD wireless dead

running 6.7 everything was fine, noticed led off. (have it configured for sfp led)

now it randomly connects and drops users…sigh

any troubleshooting at all for this?

i have a ticket into support

bump

i ordered another one, i can’t take the down time.

anyone see anything similar?

what exactly fails?
LCD or power LED is working?
Can you access the board using ethernet?

i sent in a ticket with support rif

i don’t seem to have a ticket number

board is working fine, minus the wireless. led was simply an indication wireless was off. it showed disabled and not running at one point

i disabled it over night, but its not better, log is filled with errors

Try using channel-width=20mhz and try to use another wireless frequency, maybe that wireless channel has lot of wireless interference.
Also try to adjust the antennas into different direction.

The wireless was working fine for some time and now suddenly from no apparent reason starts to behave like that?
Try resetting the wireless interface configuration and check if the problem continues.

if that was the case, then why does it not show running sometimes,

sometimes it completely stops broadcasting the SSID

its not interference, there isn’t an ssid in 5 miles of this place

this was tested across 10 different wireless devices, not a single device can connect let alone use any data

this worked flawless for almost 30 days straight.

we move a ton of data on wireless,

yesterday all went to hell, only changes made were for dns stuff.

please look at the supports i sent into support, this is not an interference issue.

i fired up a another ap on same channel identical ssid with 0 issues

i also rebooted and shutdown, and nothing changes

i will do a netinstall after hours…

you could try to do a netinstall and if that doesn’t help you can do RMA of that board.

confirmed same issue on second RB2011

http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/v6-7-released/72087/91

apparently a bug, worked flawless on 6.6

also have a ticket in with the support saves
