Has anyone used these?
Mine came with 6.1 install. I deleted some bridge ports and it rebooted in to and endless loop. These were ready to be put on-site. Really annoyed. Are these things stable? From reading it doesn’t seem to be.

I’m using one and yes they are stable … I’m on v6.1 too. However, the software does have bugs and v6 is undergoing heavy changes at the moment. Being a new unit you may have a hardware fault. Restore the config and maybe we can help you.
If you’re familiar with netinstall, I would definitely go that route and try to install 6.2 to see if stability improves. I’ve had many strange issues solved with netinstall.
Have upgraded and will test again.
Is there any difference between the two port sections (1gbit and 100mbit)? I was going to set wan on the 100mbit side and use the gbit side as a switch?
The only thing I’m aware of is that, on reset ether1 is WAN and ether2,3,4,5,6 are in bridge (switch) mode. Also make sure that you’re using a properly terminated gigabit patch cable.
All working… must have been a bug in 6.1. I remember seeing the same issue in the RC’s.
Found it was a faulty Zyxel AP (hate those things) on the network. Upgrade it’s firmware and we’re in business.
