Hi all,

I’m going to buy MikroTik for my home networking.
I am not expert of networking, actually I’m a developer, but a big fan of linux, command line, etc, and I really need to learn RouterOS (and I definitely will).

My network will include:

  1. one PC connected with wired connection
  2. some WIFI connected laptops, phones
  3. one server with many virtual servers

I am choosing between these products “RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN” and “CRS109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN”.

I see CRS109 is newer, but I cannot understand why isn’t it in “Wireless for home and office” menu (https://www.dropbox.com/s/e568vjggp4ccxpt/Screenshot%202014-09-12%2018.30.40.png?dl=0)?
It is in “Switches”.

So my question is “why?”. Will I have some downsides configuring it?..

Please help me to make a right decision.
