Hello

Earlier today, I heard my device reboot and the logs had no info regarding why it rebooted, Only that it had.

I have the above router and am having difficulties updating it. I thought I had updated a while back after not really paying attention to it and since it always worked with no issues, I ignored it.

As of today, It is at 6.42.3 (stable release). I tried to download the package and initially it told me that there was not enough disk space. I subsequently removed the old packages and then it was able to store the file. Next, I restarted the router to install the package and it still says that it is at the 6.42.3 package. Although I dont have a screen capture, it told me that it installed the package in the LOGS and that it was updated to the 6.47.6. The part I cant figure out is why it wont install the package. The only thing that I know is that it tells me that it cant install mips 3.30 It is not made for mips but mipsel.

I probably have not provided enough info so let me know what else I need to show to get help with my issue..

Can you post the actual rows from the log? In a CLI window (available via [Terminal] button in Winbox or WebFig), use /log print and copy-paste the beginning of the output if it still contains those lines. If they are not there any more, repeat the procedure to see them again.

How did you obtain the upgrade file? Using the update functionality in Winbox/WebFig or otherwise?

good day

Previously I mentioned that the update failed at the MIPS… error. I decided to delete the mips 3.30 … file (backed it up first) and then restarted.
After the restart I hit the update button on the quick set page and the update worked. Now at the current release… I am not sure why that file was installed but for now it works. All client computers connect and things appear to be working as designed.

Thanks
