RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN

I noticed that the new RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN has a poe out on port 10 these days.
But I cant find any information about it.
Is is passive poe?
Is it only available on the new RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN or does the old one support it as well.

There is PoE output function for port #10 - it can power other PoE capable devices with the same voltage as applied to the unit. Maximum load on the port is 500mA. It is passive PoE

We will check where we need to update the relevant documents

doesn’t answer the full question, was this a hardware change or can the old one’s without the “i” do it at as well?

Yes, it is change of hardware. New revision of rb2011

the letter “i” indicates this feature. if your model doesn’t have the letter “i” in the name, your model doesn’t have it. RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN for example has it, but RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN doesn’t

Thanks everybody for the information!
I didn’t notice the “i” in the name.

It can also be powered by poe? Or just powering other devices?

I’ve been using the new ‘i’ version for a bit now. eth0 can be used to power the unit via passive POE. The last port can then passively power other components at the same input voltage to the unit with about ~500mA out.

Also, this last port can be configured to be Forced On, Forced Off, or auto.
