I got a new LTE CPE HUAWEI B525s which had a L2TP client built in. Unfortunately, the documentation of the HUAWEI is not exactly explaining which modes it is using …
I want to connect it to my RB2011 (newly updated OS 6), got it working but only a non-encrypted connection…
Does anybody have more and detailed information what the HUAWEI is offering and what can be configured in RB2011 and B525s to get a most secure and probably encrypted VPN?
Furthermore, if anybody knows more about the B525s, especially if there is a possibility to configure static routes or manual firewall rules, I’d appreciate that info as well … In my B525s, such menues are not existing in the router GUI

Maybe I should add that there are some configuration examples available from some VPN providers in the Internet, but all are leaving the field “tunnel password” empty. This is not possible on this B525s, all fields need to be filled out with some content and cannot be left empty …
