RB250GS port mirrorimg

Hi everybody!
I am interested in the RB250GS to mirror the tcp traffic between two embedded devices, I am developing, to a pc.

One embedded device runs at 10 mbit, the other at 100 mbit and the pc, that should monitor, has a 1000 mbit Network card.

However, I’d have two questions:
1: Is the whole traffic mirrored (also corrupt Packets, which would normally be discarded by a switch) ?
2: Do I need to force my 1000 mbit PC network card to run at 10/100 mbit to monitor the traffic?

Thank you for your reply.

I have bought the RB250GS and I am very pleased.
Port mirroring is working fine with different speed (10/100/1000Mbit) and your hint to have a look at the statistics for malformed packages, is a quite good idea/tool to find problems at the lower layers of the stack implementation.
