RB260GS SFP configuration

Hi!
I have 30x RB260GS devices, with sfp modules. and I also have a CRS326 24S+ 2Q+ RM device.

I am using the rb260 GS devices at outdoor points.
I have two question, the first is, when I started to use CRS326 with two CRS317, it was just plug and play… I have connected the sfp port and the LC cable, but now SFP modules and LC cables connected, but nothing happens. So I have plugged my notebook on the RB260GS, I realized there is no winbox connection so I am using the web interface The RB260GS has Static ip address, 192.168.1.36, the CRS326 is the 1.28, the CRS317 is the 1.31. connection is okey between the CRS326 and 317,but I cant ping the .36
Pinging 192.168.1.36 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 10.6.0.1: Destination host unreachable.
Request timed out.

What I dont really understand, what is this 10.6.0.1? Its some kind of routing? Anyways I cant ping the 1.36.

What can cause this issue?

Sec. question is, this device really doesnt support winbox?

Thanks for the answers.

RB260GS doesn’t run ROS, it runs SwOS … hence no winbox.

So you’re saying you can connect to RB260GS via web interface (web browser), but at the same time you can’t ping it? Weird.

This 10.6.0.1 is a router somewhere in your network where the traffic towards your switch was routed and which does not know how to route it further.
It is likely you made a typo in the address so the traffic gets routed in the wrong direction.

Those RB260GS (and other SwOS devices) are a bit of a strange beast w.r.t. IP configuration. But when your network is OK, it should work.
I have also seen problems with RB260GS not retaining the configuration. When in doubt, reset it and configure it again.

I can ping the device when I am connected with my notebook on it.
and I can ping it If I connect to the omnitic with my notebook. But when I want to ping the switch on the another side of the SFP port of the RB260, I cant…

So its routing issue? How I can figure out, is my SFP connection okey? because its linking…
