RB260GS v2.2 Management VLAN STILL BROKEN

Working with support on this already, but so far no conclusion.

If I set Management VLAN to 400 on the mangement IP page and plug it into my network I can ping it by IP but I cannot get to the web page to manage the device.

I have hundreds of RB260GS v1.7 set up exactly this way, all default VLAN settings except Management VLAN 400 and it works.

So something is definately broken, or changed with new hardware and/or v2.2

I figured v1.7 on old hardware may have just been more ‘open’ to VLAN management access, so I tried lots of different VLAN settings for the SFP uplink port on v2.2.

Nothing I do will work, it’s completely unmanageable.

Has ANYONE gotten management VLAN to work with access through SFP port??

Apparently it’s fixed now with v2.3. I don’t want to test this as I only have a production unit (no test device) and I don’t want to risk losing access to my main switch.
Can anyone confirm this is fixed with v2.3?

I can now confirm this is fixed in v2.3. I added management VLAN configuration and can still access the management interface.
I have not yet tested whether the setting is correctly enforced, i.e. whether access is denied from other VLANs.
