RB260GSP - Possible to make a 6 Port using SFP module?

Hi.

We need a small 6 port POE switch. The RB260GSP looks perfect, except its 5 ports.

I see it has a SFP cage.

Can Mikrotik / someone with knowledge let me know if I can install a 1gbit ether module in the SFP cage and turn this into a 6 port switch?

We do not need POE on this extra port BTW. Just to be able to VLAN it with the existing 5 ports.

Also, will the switching be handled by the same chipset as the 5 onboard ports? Eg: Any performance penalty to running things this way?

Thanks!

did you try to instal the RJ45 SFP module?

Try this: https://mikrotik.com/product/S-RJ01

We have not purchased anything yet, we wanted to verify on here before buying.

I checked the comparability table, it makes no mention of the CSS106-1G-4P-1S for ANY of the SFP modules.
