RB3011 boot loop into etherboot

Hi All.

Thanks in advance to all helpers

Was upgrading my RB3011 – downloaded and rebooted – but has stuck and keeps going back into etherboot.
Tried to TFTP with Mikrotik unit — but does not pull the new files.
Net install – can see the unit – select rb3011 and select the file – but does not transfer the file.

Help.

OK – the problem was due to port flapping – once I got a SFP on it - it worked like a charm.

Able to update to 6.4.9 and looks as if the port flapping issue has been fixed.

Not strictly related but I had the same issue updating RB2011 to 6.49, stuck on ether boot.
Solved using Netinstall (https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/Netinstall)
-with latest NPK 6.49 (Stable),
-checked “Keep old configuration”,
-upload and reboot successfully.
