i downloaded dude wrong version (TILE instead of ARM), put it in disk, and rebooted. And i get a brick. Reset button, netinstall, serial cable. Nothing at all. Support replied that i need to search for authorized technical service. Any options?

This sounds pretty crazy to me. Doesn’t this indicate that there is a complete lack of “checking” uploaded files?
If so, this doesn’t only seem a quality issue to me, but also a serious security risk (it could mean that tampered files go completely undetected…)
It’s weird. Quick test with package for wrong architecture gives me:
23:16:14 system,error can not install dude-6.48beta12: it is not made for i386, but for tile
and it doesn’t install or break anything.
