Any status updates on when either of these devices will ship?
I know the answer is, when they are done. But are there any inklings on when they might be done?
The small form factor 3011 and Hex POE gigabit will really simplify our new tower builds.

I think you guessed the answer already! ![]()
I am surprised the HEX POE is not out already, but you never know what happens, maybe a HW fault was found before production, or a component is backordered.
Hex poe or powerbox with gigabit

Mikrotik Style, we will see this devices in autumn
but the question remains:
will it be autumn '2016? ![]()
Only Mikrotik can tell you this.
after the presentation cocky Q2-2016
but if they can not keep the date, silence
We ordered Netonix now, so we no longer have to wait for Mikrotik.
I understand the Hex POE gig delay. I am going to deploy many hundreds of these and I don’t want problems in the field. I want Mikrotik to get it right.
But the 3011 non rackmount, isn’t that just putting the 3011 board in a 2011 case? The delay of that product seems very odd to me. Janis told me at US MUM that it was coming very soon - and it’s been months. I am left scratching my head on RB3011’s unavailability.
I know it’s popular to complain that Mikrotik is slow and often is overly optimistic on release dates. But I am so pleased with RouterOS development in 2016, I give them a pass on being late on those 2 products.
i guess thats because issue with designing/debugging rb3011 PCB itself, not case.
eg full-scale rb3011 with wifi in rb2011 case.
i presume “cheap rb3011” in rb2011 cases like rb2011l-In was ~ would be more or less finalised too, then along with thing in RM case.
