Hi!
Just bought a shiny new RB3011, and I am having a couple of issues with it with the VLAN hardware, (or maybe its the QCA8337 routeros kernel driver?)
-
Traffic that is coming off a capsman managed RF network, or off the the other switch chip does not receive the reply packets from the access port. Ran the Tolls/sniffer on ether1, and vlan 11 interface, and the packets are leaving the QCA8337 untagged! If I ping the device off the router, the return traffic is tagged. Does the driver know only the MAC addresses that the routerOS itself is using, and by bug is missing others not on the RB3011?
-
ARP and IPv6 ND traffic on an access port with more than one MAC address on it is getting discarded, and the RB3011 periodically produces ICMP unreachable until it comes right after 4-5 seconds.
I am also emailing support@mikrotik.com with all the data, and I have already talked to my agent, and they told me to post here.
Thank you!
