RB3011 sfp-port not in switch menu

Hey,

im currently configuring my RB3011 and stumbled over the fact, that (in opposition to my RB2011) the sfp-port can not be found in the ‘switch’-menu in WinBox. Is this intended or a Bug? Because otherwise i dont know how i can setup VLANS on the SFP-interface or configure tag-handling on that port.

Greetings,

Daniel

From the Block diagram, (http://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/RB3011UiAS-160307123613.png)
it looks like either it connects to the second CPU directly, or it gives 2Gbit/s for the second switch.

At least on mine it came as default on the local-bridge but also didn’t came with any switch association.

RB3011 is now in my rack and connected via SFP - connection looks ok, but there is still no possibility in the cconfiguration to set VLAN-IDs for the SFP-port. i need the SFP to be configured as trunk but not for every ID and i cant chose the SFP-port in the switch menu.

For my RB2011 - if i look at the block diagramm:

http://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/Block-RB2011UAS-2HnD.pdf

it is also directly connected to the switch (with no direct link to the cpu as in RB3011) and there i can set VLANs for the SFP-port in switch menu.

Any news here? I started configuring a pair of 3011s today, cannot find SFP in switch menu.
It is of course possible to VLAN it in software / CPU mode but that is stupid…
