RB3011 White Blank Screen Issue on Startup

Hi everyone,

I recently got an RB3011 for my homelab setup, but I’m having trouble getting it to work. When I power it on, all I get is a blank white full screen. I have tried pressing the reset switch to perform a factory reset and also used Net Install, but nothing seems to help, no green LED flashes, and the device does not reboot as the manual describes. When connected to my ISP router, it just functions like a simple switch.
I’m using the RouterBOARD RB3011UiAS, running RouterOS 6.48.1, and I tried NetInstall from a Windows 10 PC.

Has anyone encountered a similar blank empty screen issue, or does anyone have any suggestions on what to try next?

If it does function as a switch, then it does boot and applies come configuration. Which means you have to try harder to get it netinstalled (with current config wiped as well), process of netinstall is a pretty fragile and easily fails.

If, when saying “blank white full screen”, you’re referring to device’s LCD screen … then its behaviour is also configurable. It could be that it was configured not to display anything, it’s known that LCD activity negatively affects router’s performance (yeah, I know).
