I guess I am dense. I have tried to upgrade to RC8 on a RB333 which came with RC4. Uploaded the files via ftp and did a system reboot from winbox. Terminal via serial tells me it can’t upgrade. So which version of software am I supposed to download to update the powerpc chip on this board?
Ok it was my mistake. It helps if you get the right package in the first place. So used to going to the 500 series download thats where I went that time. So got the download from the 300 series and it worked.
