Is there a a RB4011 or something in that range of perfomance that has 4G/5G built in?
Im looking for a good CPE, like the RB4011.
If main line goes down, I intend to use mobile broadband failover.
The custom boards from mikrotik are so far too weak. I need RB4011 because of gigabit ipsec performance. (yes I know I wont get that on LTE, but its just backup failover)
MT doesn’t provide device you’re describing. The closest you can get is to use RB4011 and some separate 4G device. Connect that 4G device to one of RB4011 ports and configure the 4G device to pass-through mode. This way RB4011 will do the routing and fall-back to backup connection and 4G device will act more or less as media converter.
The benefit of having two devices with split functionality is that you can place them to optimal places - RB4011 in hub location of your LAN and 4G device somewhere with best possible 4G signal.
