I know that probably you have heard the same question 4thousands time, but I Need help.
I Ve bought a new router and now I Need to set It up.
I want to know basically First how to connect It to internet without using autosettings so I can understand more of what I am doing.
Also I would like to know how to create vlans and how to set proper settings for wifi and firewall.

Download Winbox, connect cable from PC to one of the LAN ports (2-10), Winbox will discover the device.
Username “admin”, no password.
Once connected, familiarize yourself with the menus. IP → Address is where you set the IP. IP → Route, etc.

Use winbox to configure and use the safe mode button at the top.
Avoid youtube as there are many that will lead you astray, until you understand at least some basics…
