Hi everyone!
I am facing an issue with RB4011iGS+, I updated the OS version to the latest stable but after that the router kept rebooting automatically every 4 hours.
I had to execute a rollback downgrading to 7.10.2 and issue has stopped, Has anybody else experience the same issue? Could this be a bug for this router with that version or something similar?
Something that I also detected is that some l2tp (mikrotik routers) clients where not able to connect and it was showing the error:
: terminating… - Encryption negotiation rejected
This two behavior started after the OS update
I will appreciate your thoughts and comments
Kind regards
Ezequiel
Best to create supout.rif when it happens and send that file to support@mikrotik.com so they can investigate what’s wrong.
Could be config, could be a bug (most likely that last thing since your config works on earlier versions).
It has been solved.
Before updating to 7.11.2 the router had 34 days uptime, within those days we had configured a bridge and 2 ports, the router also has a bonding interface. when we made that chage we did not restarted the server until the day we updated to ROS 7.11.2 and started to receive the issue.
Server was restarting after 4 hours, I added the config to another router and replace it, with that router we had same symptoms so I decided to factory reset the RB4011 and added the configuretion line by line and removing not needed parameters, we also disable rstp in the bridge interface.
After that the router is ben working as expected. so I assume the issue was due to RSTP blocking all ports because sometimes the router was up but not accessible from any port.
