Recently I have purchased a rb411 board for give Wifi conectivity to an embedded ethernet device A.
I want connect the device A to an arbitrary SSID, beacuse may be several kind of AP-routers of different brands. In fact I will need several rb411 each one for an AP.
Years ago I played with the lynksys wrt54g with the same issue and only need the SSID, the IP of the AP network, put on the bridge mode and security cipher if it needed. It worked fine.
I have just a basic knowledgement on networks, and I spent several days changing on winbox all the params that I have found in guides and tutorials, but did not work. I have ping in wlan and eth sides, but both appear isolated. I have added routes, bridged both ports, change modes (station,bridge,..), but not work.
I only want interconnect the wifi network and the ethernet like in a hub in the same net.
