RB411 Ethernet Sensitivity Issue (blow outs)

I sent this to support but am looking for additional feedback… Thanks in advance.

I know that the RB411 ethernet port is more prone to “blow out” and not work in regards to lightning sensitivity - I’ve sent back for RMA at least a dozen in the past year and have never had the same problems with any of your other boards or other manufacturer products.

Question is - do you know what the problem is and has it been addressed in current shipping RB411 or will it remain the same?

Also - I have equipment to put on towers and would prefer to use another routerboard if it will not have the same problem as the RB411. Should I use the RB433 or RB433AH or others and do you know it they are built differently to help avoid this problem?

We have some problem with a RB433AH which was working OK for some time but now watchdog reboots it from time to time when using ADSL1 on ether1. We are still investigating it.
