Hi there, I’m new to the microtic networking.
I’m sharing a dsl internet connection with two friends - we had a network running on the bridgepoynt wifi and it used to work correctly, thanks to lightning I had to replace the unit.
The setup I’ve configured is my RB411 in pseudo bridge mode with an IP of 192.168.1.2 our DLS gateway is on 192.168.1.1 and the RB411 has a route 0.0.0.0/0 to gateway 192.168.1.1
The RB411 is connected to an AP (192.168.1.3) (Bridgepoynt) and a 3rd Antenna (192.168.1.4) connected to the same AP.
Now everything works as the router (192.168.1.1) can be ping’ed from any point in the network. But if you browse the internet from a station on 192.168.1.4 that has a DHCP assigned IP (The DSL router is the DHCP server and laptop connected to the 3rd antenna did receive a DHCP ip [192.168.1.111 mask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1]) some sites ex. facebook, google, skype works perfectly but other sites (some search results in google) ext does not work.
I’m unable to trace the problem here - anyone ever had a similar problem, or any suggestions on how I can resolve or debug this?
