Ok, whats the deal with some RB411s having heat sinks and some not. I assumed at first that the first batch with L4 license didn’t have them and it was added to production released boards due to the better reliability of having it. That must not be the case because I received new ones again without heat sinks and with L3 license.
Anyone have some clues?

i have 8 pieces with lvl4 without heatsinks
Some of mine had them, some didn’t - same distributor. Thats why I was curious what others were seeing.

the heatsink doesn’t make that much difference, we tested the boards with and without them, and even in severe conditions the heatsing made too little difference. The board just doesn’t overheat anyway. So to not delay production, some were sent without heatsinks that hadn’t arrived yet.
Ok, so it doesn’t really matter… But for curiosity sake does this mean that all the ones moving forward will or will not have heatsinks?
