We buy large quantity of RB411 and have few questions if somebody can help us:
Can this be upgraded to v3.2 and how as it came with version v3.0 rc12 ? We downloaded npk package for 3.2 version and it won’t upgrade after reboot. Is there a different way for upgrading than in v2?
Can this RB411 work good with 2.9.50 version of Mikrotik RouterOS? I suppose in this case it will be no problem for downgrading ?
Make sure you uploaded correct package. For RB400 routeros-mipsbe package should be used. Log should also have some entries about what went wrong during installation.
411 is using new atheros cpu which is big endian, so 2.9 won’t work on this board.
Thank you. Our administrator used mipsle and that is the reason why it didn’t upgraded. Now it works..
RB411 have level 4 license. Will it always come with this version of ROS? RB133c have level 3
Level 4 is included with the first production batch. Future batches will include level 3. The same thing happened when the RB133c first came out.
