I am using ALIX boards for hotspots with UM, because of Flash-Disk and easy set-up. Is a RB411AR (definitely cheaper than ALIX) good enough to run hotspot + UM ?
I never used RouterBoards, so the stupid qustion: Is the NAND-storage of the RB411AR equivalent to a flash-disk, to be used for the files of the hotspot, and the database of User Manager ?
Anybody from MT knows, at least ?
Yes, NAND can be used for file storage.
The 411 isn’t particularly powerful so whether it’s good enough depends on the number of users you plan to put behind it.
don’t cross-post !
