I am trying to get a connection with Sprint using 3G and/or 4G.
So far I am trying to follow this guide… http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Option_Globetrotter_HSDPA_USB_Modem
Could someone help me with the correct settings to get this to connect to Sprint?
[admin@MikroTik] /interface ppp-client> print
Flags: X - disabled, R - running
0 name=“ppp-out1” max-mtu=1492 max-mru=1492 mrru=disabled port=usb2
data-channel=0 info-channel=0 pin=“” user=“” password=“”
profile=default phone=“” dial-command=“#777” modem-init=“”
null-modem=no dial-on-demand=no add-default-route=yes use-peer-dns=yes
keepalive-timeout=30 allow=pap,chap,mschap1,mschap2
[admin@MikroTik] /interface ppp-client>

Have you checked all suggestions from,
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Option_Globetrotter_HSDPA_USB_Modem#Typical_things_to_check
- different port;
- async,debug logs could provide with additional information about the problem.
Thanks for the help but I am currently at my knowledge limitation with this. Any pointers would be nice or if I could pay a consultant I would be open to that.
you haven’t posted any actual problem description. please tell us what the logs say, as sergejs already asked.
These run similar to the Sprint 598U… they will work with the same settings Etc…
You MAY need to play with the USB channels, but as I remember they work on the same ones as the 598..
Search the foruns for my prev posts on the Sptint series of USB modems and you will find what you need…
Trust me.. There is a LOT of work allready done on the Sprint series of cards..
Heve fun !!!
