RB411U boot failure

Hello,

I tried to upgrade from 5.15 to 5.18 but the RB would not boot afterwards. When I connect to the console I saw a message that said it could not load the kernel.

RouterBOOT booter 2.36

RouterBoard 411U

CPU frequency: 300 MHz
Memory size: 32 MB

Press any key within 2 seconds to enter setup..
kernel not found
trying dhcp protocol… OK
resolved mac address 52:54:00:17:56:C3
Gateway: 10.19.69.1
transfer started udp error 1
kernel loading failed

\0x00

I tried netinstall but it did not detect the RB. I then chose the backup-booter but now it only displayes a “\0x00” and nothing else. Is there a way to recover from this? I tried the hard reset but that does not seem to work.

Netinstall should work if the device hasn’t gone bad.
